After its release on the big screen in December last year, Badrul Anam Soud's critically acclaimed film "Gohin Baluchor" will be telecast on Dipto TV for the first time this Eid. The audience will get the opportunity of enjoying the film on the eve of Eid-ul-Fitr.

Shot in a char of Barishal district, the film features the love story of a boy and a girl from rival villages. A char that appears on the river between the villages creates a feud among its residents. How the story of the star-crossed lovers' end, set at the backdrop of this conflict, is the premise of the story.

With an exceptional ensemble cast, 'Gohin Baluchor' saw its release in 26 cinemas across the country. The film stars newcomers Abu Hurayra Tanvir, Neelanjona Nila and Jannatun Noor Moon in the leading roles.

Besides veterans like Suborna Mustafa, Raisul Islam Asad, Fazlur Rahman Babu and talented actors like Jeetu Ahsan, Shahadat Hossain and Shormy Mala, among others, have played important roles in 'Gohin Baluchor'.

Badrul Anam Soud said about the story, "The story of the film is about the country and its people. It is the story of riverine people and their joy and woes, love and hatred and all of it is surrounded by the nature. The film is a reflection of the conflicts and the harmonies between man and nature."
