Bipasha Kabir: Dhallywood's item girl as drug dealer

Bipasha Kabir, who is best known as an item girl in the Dhallywood film industry, kicked off the journey in the film industry pursuing to be a heroine. However, she didn't get any chance to be an actress. Now this actress wants to break her image of being an item girl and wants to portray characters in a story driven film and Padmapuran, a Bengali film has given her the chance of being an actress.

The item girl, Bipasha Kabir will be seen in a whole new avatar in this film. She will appear as a drug dealer in Padmapuran.

For a long time she has craved experimental characters and she feels fortunate that she has been casted in this film. "I want to break my image. For a long time I only did item songs and commercial films. I almost forgot the essence of being an actor.

That's why I am leaning on story driven film. I want to challenge myself and portray difficult characters," said Bipasha. "In Padmapuran film, I will be seen as a drug queen. Hope audience will discover a whole new me in this film," she added.

The film is directed by Rashid Palash. About the film and the character of Bipasha Kabir, he said, "Audience always look toward Bipasha as an item girl. We want to break that image. The film will feature her as a drug queen and will depict the lifestyle of the community who live near the border."

The film will ensemble some powerful actors like Champa, Shampa Reza, Kayes Chowdhury and Shimul Khan. All of them will be seen in characters they haven't been seen ever before.  Bipasha Kabir is the Lux Channel I superstar competition winner 2009 in Bangladesh. She first performed in 'Valobashar Rong' bengali film.
