People will find fault: Ileana

  • Print

Actress Ileana D'Cruz has been very frank when it comes to issues like body shaming. She has, in the past, revealed her initial struggle with this and how she has now moved ahead on and accepted herself for who she is.

She is one of the few in B-town to speak up about depression and body shaming and has not held back when it has come to sharing her views on the same. The 'Raid' (2018) actress feels that there is a lot of pressure when a person is a celebrity as there is the expectation from fans to look good all the time.

She told a site that for someone who's had body issues, and does not consider herself attractive at all, it that affected her even more. She added that for the moment, she knows she will see pictures of her that are not flattering and that she will have people judging her as to whether she would look good on a particular day or not.

Ileana said initially she felt the need to impress everyone and get good reviews about herself, but later she has realized that one can't please everyone.

The actress had earlier revealed that she suffered from Body Dysmorphic Disorder during her teenage years, and this had caused her slip into depression.

She added that occasionally even now, she gets upset when a few harsh comments are made on her pictures. She added that no matter how great one looks, people will still find faults.
