Two female JMB activists held in city

Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) arrested two female operatives of the banned militant outfit Jama'atul Mujahidden Bangladesh (JMB) from the city's Arambagh area on Wednesday night. 

"We arrested two female JMB operatives Rubaiyat Binte Nur Uddin alias Hurer Rani alias Labiba, 20, and Naima Akhter alias Himalayer Konya,25, along with fanatic books and leaflets from Arambagh area around 10 pm on Wednesday," senior assistant superintendent of police Sheikh Billal Hossain of RAB-11 told BSS today. 

Both of the arrestees were hailed from Mymensingh district, he added. 

Legal action was taken against the arrestees.
