Principal Shaju conferred award

For outstanding contribution to education in Bangladesh, General Secretary of the Shadinota Shikkhak Parishad (Sha-ship) Principal Shahjahan Alam Shaju has recently been conferred the 'International Friendship Award-2018' at a seminar titled 'Nepal-Bangladesh Friendship' in Kathm-andu, the capital of Nepal.

As the special guest at the seminar, Principal Shaju said, "Nepal can produce hydropower with lower costs and earn huge foreign currencies by exporting this power to India and Bangladesh.

 Consequently, the water and power crisis in India and Bangladesh will be resolved and the mutual friendship will be consolidated with the trilateral economic development."

Guests at the dais applauded the proposal of Principal Shaju. Nepal's ex-education minister and prominent litterateur Mod Nath Proshith was present as the chief guest at the function chaired by International Transcre-ation Society Secretary General Risabdeb Ghises. Litterateur Matha Thakuria, lawmaker Dhan Khatiuramong others were also present as special guests.
