  • Print

The investigation agency of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) today released its probe report in the crimes against humanity case against five men from Jashore.

"Of the five, police have managed to arrest Md Amzad Hossain Mollah, 77, of Bagharpara, Jashore," said coordinator of the agency Mohammad Abdul Hannan Khan.

The probe body official said these while addressing a press briefing held at its Dhanmandi office this morning.

Investigation agency co-coordinator Md Sanaul Haque said they have brought four charges against the five, but did not reveal the name of other four accused as they are still at large.

"We launched the probe against the five on April 4, 2016, and concluded today. We have recorded testimonies of 40 people in the case," Haque said.

The investigation agency official said they would submit the report to the ICT prosecution team tomorrow.
