BCB to discuss with BCCI for Afghanistan series
The Bangladesh Cricket Board president Nazmul Hasan said that they are in talks with the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to change the venue for the proposed series against Afghanistan that is slated to be held in Dehradun.
Bangladesh were set to play a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan in India's Dehradun in June as per the earlier arrangement but since they will be playing a full series against West Indies following the Afghanistan series, BCB is looking to play at a venue that's comfortable for travelling.
According to Nazmul, BCB prefers to play the series in Bangalore or Kolkata. "We told them (BCCI) to reconsider the venue location so that it is convenient for our players,' Nazmul told reporters."As we will tour West Indies for a full tour after the Afghanistan series, it would be better for players if the venue is convenient for travelling," he said.
