Bangladesh becoming role model of development
Bangladesh is moving forward under the leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and the country is going to be a role model for development, observed speakers at a seminar in Mumbai, India, on Thursday. The speakers came up with the observation in the seminar on "Vibrant Bangladesh: Transition from LDC status" at the World Trade Centre (WTC) hall room in Mumbai, said a press release yesterday.
Deputy High Commission of Bangladesh in Mumbai organised the seminar to celebrate Bangladesh's achievement of eligibility to graduate from the Least Developed Coun-tries (LDCs). Deputy High Commissioner M Lutfar Rahman made a power point presentation on the glorious achievement of Bangladesh. Lutfar Rahman said Bangladesh is going to join in the developing counties and in this way, the country is going to be a role model.
"Everything is being possible because of the prudent policy and dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina," he added. WTC Vice Chairman Bijoy Kalantari delivered the welcome speech. Later, a discussion on "Sustai-nable Develop-ment through Trade and Investment in Bangla-desh" was also held at the hall room. At the discussion, speakers lauded Bangladesh for its success in socio-economic development.
