A daily drama serial with social cause

New daily soap named 'Gramer Naam Shimulpur', produced by Directorate General of Family Planning is going to be on air on Channel i from March 18. A press meet was held at Channel i Studio on March 13. Director General of DGFP Additional Secretary Mr Dr. Kazi Mustafa Sarwar, Join Secretary, Director IEM & Line Director IEC, DGFP Mr. Soleman Khan, Head of Creative & Expressions Social of Expressions Ltd Tropa Majumdar, General Manager of Program Dept. of Channel I Mr. Amirul Islam, Playwright Mejbah Uddin Suman, Director of the play Georgis Bashar, actors of the play and other higher officials from Directorate General of Family Planning and Channel i were present at the event.

Speakers in the press meet informed that, different family planning services, early marriage, early pregnancy, reproductive healthcare, antenatal & neonatal care, services for adolescents are the main subjects of this serial. This daily soap is aimed to create awareness.

The drama will be on air only on Channel i on every Sunday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday at 5.30 pm, Monday & Tuesday at 6.00 pm and  Thursday at 6.30 pm.
