Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina returns home this afternoon cutting short her official visit to Singapore following the
US-Bangla plane crash in Nepal yesterday.

"The premier will reach Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka at 5:50 pm," a press release of the Press Wing of the Prime Minister's Office said here today.

The prime minister, who went to Singapore on Sunday, was scheduled to return home on Wednesday.

Nearly 50 people were killed as an aircraft of US-Bangla Airlines crashed and burst into flames while landing at Trivuban International Airport in Kathmandu on Monday afternoon.
