Niloy stars in detective web-series

Model and actor Niloy Alamgir is going to debut in a detective web-series for the first time in his career. The actor will be seen in a Zamindar character in an original detective story titled Jomidar Bari. Written and directed by Shakib Rayhan, the episode is a part of a running web series titled Detective Labhlu Mia.

The detective series centers around detective Labhlu Mia who is always on verge to solve mysteries. In the episode, Jomidar Bari, the detective has to protect an old zamindar house from invisible foes. The lead character is played by Azad Abul Kalam.

The name of the character Niloy will play is Sudipto Roy Chowdhury who is the last descendent of the house. "I have worked with Shakib bhai. The story of Jomidar Bari really impressed me, that's why I accepted the role," said Niloy on working in his first ever web-series.

Niloy hopes the audience will like his take on Sudipto Roy Chowdhury. Aside from Azad Abul Kalam and Niloy Alamgir, Kazi Ujjal will also be featured.

Detective Labhlu Mia has garnered quite a critical acclamation since it started airing. The makers of the web series hope that the new episodes will keep the buzz alive. Jomider Bari is available on Robi and Airtel Screen on January 11.
