Two-day annual business conference of SIBL held

Social Islami Bank Limited (SIBL) has arranged a two-day annual business conference for the year 2018 at Hotel Le Meridien in the city.  Chairman of the bank Professor Md Anwarul Azim Arif inaugurated the business conference as the chief guest.

Director and Chairman of Risk Management Committee Md Kamal Uddin, Director Nargis Mannan, Director Dr Jahangir Alam and Director of Social Islami Bank Limited Badrun Nessa Alam were present as special guests.

The program was presided over by Managing Director and CEO of the bank Quazi Osman Ali. Chairman of the bank Professor Md Anwarul Azim Arif suggested the management of the bank to take strategic business policy to increase the overall business growth of the bank.

Managing Director and CEO of the bank stated that Social Islami Bank has been maintaining a stable position for a steady growth in all its business indicators. 

The conference was followed by a business session on the 2nd day. The session reviewed the overall business performance of 2017 of the bank with the special focus on achievements, critical analysis and shortcomings.

The business target for 2018 including profitability as well as deposit, investment, foreign trade and other business indicators of the bank was also discussed in the business conference.
