Uttara Model Town to come under WASA water supply

A contract has been signed between Dhaka WASA and eight contractors on Thursday at Hotel Sonargaon in Dhaka. Dhaka WASA's Additional Chief Engineer and Project Director of Interim Water Supply Project Md Akhtaruzzaman signed the contract.

Under the agreement, WASA will construct the water supply network at Uttara Model Town with RAJUK's funding of Tk 131 crores. Dhaka WASA Managing Director Taqsem A Khan, RAJUK Chairman Md Abdur Rahman, IWM Executive Director Dr Monowar Hossain and other high officials along with representatives of contractors were present at the signing ceremony.
