‘Arms trader’ held in C’nawabganj

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) in a drive arrested a suspected arms trader along with firearms from Ekhlaspur area in  Shibganj upazila on Friday night.

A team of the elite force conducted the drive and arrested Mainul Islam, 38, son of Shamsuddin, resident of Gomostopur upazila along with a pistol, one revolver, a magazine and five bullets, said Mohammad Syed Abdullah Al- Murad, squadron leader and camp commander of Rab-5.

A case was filed.
