Fire breaks out at UK train station

  • Print

Firefighters are tackling a huge blaze at Nottin-gham railway station, reports BBC. Ten fire crews are at the city centre station after the fire broke out at about 06:30 GMT. Flames have been seen and smoke has filled the station's foyer. The building has been evacuated and trains have been stopped from entering and leaving all platforms.

Fire officers said the "fully developed fire" is in the main concourse of the station and has spread to the roof. A cordon has been put in place outside the building and around Carrington Street.
