IsDB Group annual meeting to be held in Tunisia in April

The date of the 43rd Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group (IsDB Group) has been rescheduled on April 1-5, 2018 in Tunis, the capital of Tunisia. "The next annual meeting of the IsDB Group was first scheduled for May 14-18 this year.

But, now the date has been rescheduled for April 1-5, 2018," an Economic Relations Division (ERD) official told BSS. The official said the ERD has been officially informed about this development recently by the Islamic Development Bank. He informed that a Bangladesh delegation, led by Finance Minister Abul Maal Abdul Muhith, is likely to participate the annual meeting of the IsDB Group. Bangladesh is a member of IsDB Group.

The Board of Governors of the IsDB Group holds the annual meeting to discuss development issues and institutional matters. The meeting attracts over 2,000 participants and offers an ideal platform for decision-makers to discuss challenges and explore opportunities.
